Boston's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Last night I attended a holiday tree lighting ceremony and the Boston Commons were all aglow.

This is the 38th year of the tradition - a symbol of benevolence from the people of Nova Scotia dating back to 1917 when Boston sent aid after an explosion devastated Halifax's harbor.
