I Travel Like a Local

Last week, I was honored to be featured by Fathom in their 13 Locals in the Travel Mindset Instagram round-up. If there's one thing I love most about Instagram, it's the ability to discover new places to explore by seeing the world through images captured by locals.

The photo Fathom selected is from one of my weekend excursions to the Red Hook area of Brooklyn. Though industrial in appearance, this waterfront neighborhood always manages to deliver a small town feeling each time I visit.
