Do you ever return from vacation with leftover currency? Struggle to understand exactly how much dinero you’re left with? Imagine if you visited a country with this currency designed by Mac Funamizu. It’d be so easy to understand which coins are worth something and which aren’t worth trying to get rid of in tips for hotel maids. The edges of the coins are a bit awkward, but maybe this could be corrected by simply using open space in a center of a round coin rather than cutting it up like this.  It'd be ideal to have raised dots as well, for those that are visually impaired. For now, I'll just keep throwing my spare change in the bag in my desk.
