Boarding Pass/Fail

Tyler Thompson was flying to Seattle and noticed the poor design of his airline's boarding pass. So, he sketched out a few ideas and came up with the two designs above.  A few others have since added their own suggestions and designs below his. I agree that it can sometimes be difficult see what gate and time to reference based on your airplane boarding pass, which is why I like these simple, user-friendly designs.  Airport way-finding has come a long way, though. It'd be great if airlines would put a greater emphasis on the design of boarding passes and, dare I even wish, implement electronic boarding passes?
